In the second quarter of 2025, the top photo and video applications on iOS in Europe demonstrated varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

YouTube showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $8.6M by the end of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, averaging around 240K, while active users saw a gradual decline from 149.5M to 148M.

Snapchat experienced a consistent rise in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $2.9M by late June. Downloads remained stable, averaging over 210K weekly, with active users hovering around 45M throughout the quarter.

CapCut - Video Editor saw a notable increase in revenue, climbing to about $2.4M by the end of Q2. Weekly downloads varied, peaking at 532K, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at around 20M.

FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor had a steady revenue increase, reaching $1.6M by late June. Downloads remained consistent, with a weekly average of 80K, and active users slightly increased, ending at 1.38M.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor experienced a steady revenue climb, peaking at $1.4M. Downloads showed a downward trend towards the end of the quarter, while active users decreased from 5.4M to 4.5M.
